Lord have MERCY

I (Esther) have been reading through the book of Judges recently, and have been struck by the way God is so merciful to his people despite their continued sin. The people of Isreal; time after time turned away from God and turned back to their old waya of sinning- does tha remind you of anyone? Yet despite their actions God still showed MERCY!

So this weeks topic is:
MERCY

God remains merciful to his people in so many ways. Show us how you depict this topic in your artwork and please post a link so we can share with one another.

I apologize, I've been trying to post my page link in a way that allows people to click on it, but doesn't seem to be working.. so guess people can copy and paste this link into the browser:

This is what I came up with when thinking of the word, "mercy." God's mercy is abundant and beautiful!

Hi!

The quote from Micah is the first one I thought of for this topic - often used by our parish justice and peace group.

Said group has now folded as the Chairman sadly died (after an operation which had gone well he suddenly went downhill - such a shock to his family just before Christmass 2007) and the Secretary's wife is now not well at all, so he had to resign, too.

But I will always associate that verse with the group, which was part of my life for a while.
